Admission & Withdrawals
1. If a student wants to discontinue his / her studies
for any reason, he / she should
a) Make an application for the same in writing
countersigned by the parent/ guardian
b) Pay
the tuition fee for the year and Special fees for the whole year
if he / she has attended classes even for a day during the
year. (However, a first year student is eligible for the refund
of tuition fees, should he / she wish to discontinue before
completion of the first term.)
c) Have paid all the dues to the College to get the
Transfer and Conduct Certificates.
2. Transfer and Coduct Certificates will be issued free
of cost if a student applies for the first time within one year of
leaving the college. But if the application is made after the
lapse of a year he / she has to pay a penal fee of Rs. 20/- per
annum.
3. Student applying for duplicate T.C. should produce a
Certificates from the Tahsildar of Revenue Department about the
loss of Original Transfer Certificate. A fee of Rs. 50/- will
be charged for the issue of duplicate T.C. The principal also
has to be convinced of the necessity of issuing it.
4. A Student who wishes to obtain Certificate of
Transfer, Age, Character etc., should apply for it in the
prescribed form available in the College office.
Fee Regulation
1. First year students should pay the fees during
Admission. Second and third year students should pay the fees
within the first 10 working days after the commencement of the
College without fine or within the 20th day with fine
at the rate of Rupee one per working day.
2.
Students who have passed the qualifying examination other than
Matriculation shall pay a recognition fee of Rs. 100/- and
such other fees as may be required by the
University of
Madras.
3.
Students whose names have been struck off the Rolls for
non-payment of term fees or Special fees should pay a
re-admission fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) and other dues
already incurred (i.e., fees and default fine to date)
4. All
payments should be made into the IOB Extension Counter between
10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. only.
DRESS CODE
Both Men and Women students are to dress modestly and have well
groomed hair. They are not permitted to wear T. Shirts, Jeans
etc.
Women students are permitted to wear chudidhars with their
Duppattas pinned properly or Sarees only. Tight, transparent,
provocative fittings are strictly prohibited.
All students are advised not to wear precious and costly
Jewellery. The College authorities will not hold any
responsibility for the loss.
