Applicants
must have passed
the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination recognised by the University of Madras |

Historical Studies |
The applicant
should have studied History or any other subjects in the qualifying
examination. However, preference shall be given to those applicants
who have studied History in the qualifying examination. |

should have studied Economics in the qualifying examination. |

The applicant
should have studied English/Telugu under Part I or Part II Language
or as an advanced language subject in the qualifying examination. |
